Movement with Meaning
Team Rynkeby's School Event brings students together for an active day where fitness, community, and a good cause go hand in hand.

The event is all about making a difference together. Students are not running to come first or be the fastest, but to contribute what they can. In this way, everyone plays an important part in the effort, regardless of how many laps or kilometres they complete.
Participation is free for schools. Leading up to the event, students can secure small micro-sponsorships from parents, grandparents, neighbours, or local businesses, who will donate an amount for each lap or kilometre the child completes.
When the entire class, school, and community come together, the School Run transforms from just an active day in the playground to a shared experience, where the children feel they are helping other children.
Once the school is registered, the school's contact person will be reached out to by the local Team Rynkeby team, who will provide information and support leading up to the race day. The school will also receive materials to help inform students and parents about the event, the micro-sponsorships, and the wonderful cause the students are running for.
In the lead-up to the race, students can establish small sponsorship agreements with family, neighbours, friends, or local businesses. Sponsors pledge to donate a set amount per lap or kilometre that the student completes on race day. This makes the event tangible for the students, as they can feel their efforts contributing to making a difference.
On the day itself, students will run a route within the school grounds or nearby. The route can be adapted to suit the school's facilities, ensuring all students can participate at their own level.
Once the race is completed, the students' laps or kilometres will be tallied, allowing for the calculation of sponsorship contributions. These contributions are paid electronically to the Team Rynkeby Foundation.

The students run at their own pace and contribute whatever they can, whether they complete a few laps or many.

Before the race, students can seek sponsors from family, friends, or local businesses, who will donate a sum for each lap or kilometre completed.
