The Classic Road Teams
The classic road teams are the heart of our DNA. This is where you experience the full journey with your local team. You train closely together all year, culminating in an unforgettable eight-day ride through Europe to Paris.

The application deadline is 31 August 2027.
Application for the 2027/2028 Season
You don’t need to be an experienced cyclist or in peak condition when you apply. What matters most is that you are motivated to train and become part of the community that will take the team all the way to Paris.
You will join a team of seasoned riders and participants who may be getting on a road bike for the first time. Throughout the season, you will receive a training plan, and the team will organise group training sessions in the spring, so you can log those miles alongside your teammates.
Team Rynkeby is a committed training community. This means you won’t be alone in your preparations, but it also means the team is counting on you. By following the plan, attending training sessions, and actively participating in the community, you’ll be sure to get ready for the tour.

With Team Rynkeby, you will become part of a team made up of individuals from various ages, backgrounds, and personal reasons for joining. Some come for the cycling, some for the camaraderie, some for the cause, and many find that these elements are closely intertwined.
You will grow close over a season with Team Rynkeby. If you are open, curious, and eager to meet new people, Team Rynkeby can offer you friendships that extend far beyond the journey to Paris.
The journey to Paris takes different routes. We have five different team types and our indispensable service team, who keep the wheels turning behind the scenes. Although the settings and routes vary, the mission remains the same for everyone.

The 100-kilometre teams are for those who wish to be part of the social community and fundraising, but where the daily stages on the journey to Paris are tailored to a maximum of 100 kilometres per day.

Team Rynkeby Europe is for those who want to be part of a genuine international community that transcends borders. Within the team, nationalities blend into a shared European project, where the common language is English, but the heart and goal remain the same.

Team Rynkeby Gravel is for the adventurers who thrive away from the tarmac. Here, smooth asphalt is replaced by forest floors, gravel paths, and the elements of nature. It’s a more intense route through challenging terrain.

While the cyclists are on the road, the support team ensures everything runs smoothly. They manage logistics, fix minor issues, replenish supplies, and are ready with encouraging hugs when energy runs low.

To participate in Team Rynkeby, you must first and foremost be motivated to cycle.
