Our Core Values
The committed community
Team Rynkeby is a community you join, but also a community you commit to.
We come together with different experiences, roles and reasons for being involved. Some join for the training, others for the friendships, some for the cause, and many discover along the way that it all interconnects.
We share in the tasks that get the team to the finish line, even when they aren't necessarily at the top of our wish list. After all, a team doesn’t become strong on its own. It grows strong when we take responsibility for one another and for the collective project.
Our values are therefore about how we interact in practice. They are felt when we keep our promises, speak kindly to one another, and support the decisions we make together. They are felt when we share experiences with new participants, listen to feedback and dare to ask others for advice, because we know that Team Rynkeby becomes stronger when we learn from each other.
We understand that a season requires a lot. There is training, planning, sponsorship work, events, and many practical tasks that need to be done. That is why we need a shared foundation that reminds us why we do this.
The values help us take care of Team Rynkeby, the community, and the cause we are raising funds for. They remind us that success is created by riders, helpers, sponsors, previous participants, and local forces who work together.
That's how we build a strong season. A strong team. And a Team Rynkeby that year after year can cycle in support of children with critical illnesses.
